Crypto-Backed Loan Calculator: Estimate What You Could Borrow and What It Could Cost

This loan calculator estimates how much you could borrow against Bitcoin or Ethereum and what the loan could cost over a period you choose. Enter your collateral value, set a loan-to-value and pick a projection period, and it shows the maximum borrowable amount, projected interest at the variable USDC borrow rate, Abra fees and an estimated annual cost. Every output is illustrative, not an offer of credit, and is subject to approval.

Illustrative only; not an offer of credit. Interest is projected at the trailing 12-month average of the USDC variable borrow rate (Oct 20, 2025 – Oct 20, 2026), compounding, on the full amount for the whole period; the current rate is as of Oct 20, 2026. The rate is variable and changes without notice, so actual interest will differ. Fees are Abra's disclosed 1% origination fee on the loan, and 0.2% a year on collateral. The estimated annual cost adds those fees to the projected interest, as a share of the loan per year, before any collateral yield; it is not an APR as defined for consumer credit. Excludes changes in the price of BTC, which move your loan-to-value and can lead to a margin call or liquidation. Not tax, legal or investment advice.

How to use it

Four inputs, one estimate.

  1. Choose your collateral

    Select Bitcoin or Ethereum.

  2. Enter the collateral value

The dollar value of the BTC or ETH you would pledge.

  3. Set a loan-to-value

Slide from conservative up to a maximum of about 50%. A lower LTV leaves more room before a margin call.

  4. Pick a projection period

From three months to three years, then read the estimated net cost.

What does the loan calculator assume?

The calculator shows the current variable USDC borrow rate with its date, then projects interest at the trailing 12-month average rate, compounded on the full loan amount for the whole period. The variable rate can change without notice, so actual interest will differ from the estimate.

Fees included are the 1% origination fee on the loan amount and the 0.2% annual fee on collateral. The estimated annual cost is not an APR as defined for consumer credit, and it excludes any yield on collateral. Price moves in Bitcoin or Ethereum are not modeled; they change your LTV and can trigger a margin call or liquidation. The output is not tax, legal or investment advice.

Disclaimer

Understand the Risk

Crypto-backed loans involve risk, including liquidation.

Loans are overcollateralized. Digital-asset prices are volatile; if your collateral’s value falls below required thresholds, you may face a margin call and your collateral may be liquidated, potentially at an unfavorable time. Interest accrues while the loan is outstanding. Nothing here is tax, legal, or investment advice.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

No. The output is illustrative and every loan is subject to approval. Your actual rate, fees and borrowing limit are set out in your loan terms.

The headline figure is the current variable USDC borrow rate, dated in the tool. Projected interest uses the trailing 12-month average so the estimate is not tied to a single day's rate. Both are variable and can change without notice.

No. It combines projected interest and Abra fees as a percentage of the loan for illustration. It is not an APR as defined for consumer credit, and it excludes any yield on collateral.

Your LTV rises. If it moves past required thresholds you may face a margin call, and your collateral may be liquidated, potentially at an unfavorable time. The calculator does not model price moves, so test a lower LTV if you want more room.
