Marissa Kim is Head of Asset Management at Abra, leading Abra Capital Management, the firm's SEC-registered investment adviser, along with the Abra Private and Abra Treasury businesses. She brings more than 15 years of investment management experience and has been investing in digital assets since 2017. Before Abra she founded MAB Capital Management LLC, an investment firm focused on thematic Web3 investments, co-founded the digital asset advisory firm Ark Advisors, and practiced investment management law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where she worked closely with BlackRock and other large asset managers. She has also held senior roles at consumer technology startups, and writes and speaks regularly on digital asset strategy, including as a contributor to CoinDesk. Marissa has a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan. She is also a member of the New York Bar.
