
Frances Rabias
Chief Compliance Officer
Frances Rabias is Chief Compliance Officer of Abra, leading compliance across its regulated entities, including Abra Capital Management, its SEC-registered investment adviser. She is an attorney and financial regulatory executive with more than 20 years of experience across investment advisers, private funds, broker-dealers, futures commission merchants, fintech and digital assets, with expertise spanning SEC and CFTC regulation, AML/BSA, trading and clearing, governance and regulatory examinations. Before Abra, Frances held senior legal and compliance roles with Pagaya, ACA Group, XL Group and Mitsubishi International/Triland USA, and served as Chief Compliance Officer to multiple SEC-registered investment advisers and regulated financial institutions. She began her financial-services career in trading and brokerage, giving her practical experience with the front- and back-office infrastructure underlying execution, clearing and institutional investment businesses. Frances holds a J.D. from Touro Law Center and a B.S., summa cum laude, from St. John's University, and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and before the U.S. Supreme Court. She serves on the Digital Asset Committee of the New York State Bar Association, an appointment by its President.
